  Re: New mech: Sensei Trainer

(...) I'm not familiar with the Zelda games. I guess I'll just have to take your word for it :) I just wanted to show off the poseability of the mech. I especially like the "Come get some!" (URL) "why God, WHY??" (URL) (23 years ago, 21-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New mech: Sensei Trainer

(...) That's cool! The different poses reminds me of Majora's Reincarnation from Zelda: Majora's Mask... I like it!! :-) <<Joel>> (23 years ago, 21-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Evangelion construction

Newbie alert! That's me. Lurker for a while, but I just signed up recently to post. Sadly, I lack a camera to show my work, and I took it apart anyway to retry the design, but I've just started work on a large-scale Evangelion. Mind you, I don't (...)   New mech: Sensei Trainer

Hey all. Ever wondered what people train on to learn how to pilot really big mechs? Well, I'm here to answer that. Presenting the Sensei Training Mech. It's big, but unarmed and unarmored. It's used to teach pilots how to handle a large mech without (...) (23 years ago, 20-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New mecha: Pipsqueak

I think its cute, it would make a nice recon mech. Gary Joel Dobbins <dobbinsk@suscom-maine.net> wrote in message news:GoLqq3.2Iv@lugnet.com... (...) it.. (...) :-) (...) just (...) that's (...) (23 years ago, 20-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: TTT w/ wgb compact

(...) Very nifty, indeed. The way that the proportions of Lego work is one of the things that keeps me fascinated. Sometimes it seems a bit mysterious (the angle of the angled axle joiners and angled beams for example) but it works out. Usually. (...) (23 years ago, 19-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New mecha: Pipsqueak

(...) I like the feet a lot. Using handlebars is a great idea! My challenge to you would be: can you work a minifig into that? ;) The quad stance and the "attack angle" really look nice. (...) Make about fifty of those, and set 'em loose...heh. LFB (23 years ago, 19-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New mecha: Pipsqueak

(...) Actually, it's kinda cute. I missed your initial post as I've been cutting back on how often I read things around here in general. It's got this Aardvark/Anteater thing going on that just kinda grabs me. I like it. JJ (23 years ago, 19-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New mecha: Pipsqueak

(...) Okay, okay.. I know I'm not supposed to reply to my own message, but I just wanted to say that I know you all went to the site and thought, "man, that's stupid" and to tell you the truth, it was supposed to be.. It was just supposed to be a (...) (23 years ago, 19-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Zoid Cockpit

(...) component DATs are not included. I am no expert, but I think the trick is to do something like make the file into a multipart MPD, rather than a plain old DAT file. (I think I am having a problem like this myself on one of my webpages -- not (...) (23 years ago, 19-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  New mecha: Pipsqueak

This remote-controled mecha strikes fear into the heart of all who... pet it.. (URL) Mladen's "Raider" and Geordan's "Ravenger" have something to pick on. :-) <<Joel>> (23 years ago, 18-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New mecha: The Ravenger

(...) Thanks Stuart! (...) Thanks, :^) And I like the 'plus fours' (short pants)! (...) that was sorta Mladen's idea though, props to him, :-) (...) In combat? yeah probably, the one thing I like about this mecha though is that I can zoom it around (...) (23 years ago, 17-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Zoid Cockpit

(...) I thought somebody might raise this question. The answear is, I don't know. I have now built the complete mech but I don't own that particluar windshield part. If Lego had no tolerance's between parts then it definately wouldn't open. I'm (...) (23 years ago, 17-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) lol! Bullfrog= huge? The funny thing is, I wanted it to be a few degrees smaller-- just to get those stubby Technic fig legs down into the thighs of the 'bot. oh well... on to something else... ;^) stuart (23 years ago, 17-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New mecha...

It looks like a mass production mecha using off the shelf parts :-) (tagged for a Jain's entry :-) KUTGW (...) (23 years ago, 17-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Ballad of GG

(...) That's outta control! Every bar should have a big lego mecha on the counter. And you could probably make one with pneumatics that actually drinks and... undrinks. I realize that beer would definitely gum up the works, but could you run water (...) (23 years ago, 17-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) I'm unfamiliar with "Zoid", but that is a great mecha head shape. I have one question, though- can you actually open the windshield without taking the front curve piece off? -- Tony Hafner www.hafhead.com (23 years ago, 17-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
