Heavy artillery mech: the MP 802

Hey all, this is my latest MOC. It's a heavily armed four legged mecha. I have two versions of the mecha. the first version is just plain with a fair amount less detail than version 2. It's name suits perfectly it's role in war. THis mech is (...) (23 years ago, 18-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Micro-Fig Mecha - "White Rabbit"

(...) Thanks for being so honest Greg! You've just described all the reasons why I like this mecha and why I built it this way. Maybe you're just not a big fan of anime/manga mecha. Thanks again! BTW "big jumble"??? Mladen Pejic, over and out! (URL) (23 years ago, 18-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Micro-Fig Mecha - "White Rabbit"

(...) I see is a big jumble of spindly white things. You probably meant for it to look all high tech with little gadgets sticking out all over, but it just seems cluttered to me. I am more a fan of streamlined models, but hey, if you like it that's (...) (23 years ago, 18-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Micro-Fig Mecha - "White Rabbit"

Looks really great. You do have an incredible knack for using pices that would not normally be used in an MOC such as this. Great job on that dritver of yours as well, I just finished a four legged Mecha vaguely similar in design to yours that I've (...) (23 years ago, 18-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

New Micro-Fig Mecha - "White Rabbit"

(URL) you all enjoy it, cause I had fun trying to see how many white 1x2 bars and 2x2 dishes I could use on this mecha! ;-) Mladen Pejic, over and out! (URL) (23 years ago, 17-Jun-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: Out of my cave...

<snip> Oh, happy day!!! It's great that you're back! You've always made some of my favorite mechs! Much of my stuff was inspired by your building technique. Kiseru - man, that thing rules! I can't wait to see some new stuff from you; I had been (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) <snip> Glad you're back, Colin! Your mecha were one of the main reasons I got my collection back from my li'l bro and started building mecha again. Hope to hear from you again soon! ~Grand Admiral Muffin Head (23 years ago, 16-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Out of my cave...

(...) Occording to LEGO.com, the pilot's name is Antares, he's a doctor, so he was trained to invent stuff (did lego mean that?), his favorite color is white and he likes to eat vegetable cubes (I didn't know they had mouths). NICK (23 years ago, 16-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New Quadruped Mecha

Thanks James! I had to rebuild both the cockpit and the bottom of the mecha twice. The mecha would have looked much better if it wasn't a two-person vehicle. Oh well... BTW what kind of six legged mecha are you making? - transport, assault... (...) (23 years ago, 16-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) four flags placed how they are, I guess they just fit. I am working on a six legged mecha myself. As soon as it is done I will post pics of it. James "That short nerdy kid that everybody knows" Bush (URL) (23 years ago, 16-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

  Out of my cave...

Hi all, I'm still alive. I've been terribly preoccupied with real life for quite a while, but I thought I'd pop my head in for a moment. Thanks to everybody who's been asking about me, and thanks also to those who've given credit for the inspiration (...) (23 years ago, 16-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Give us Building Lessons

I build to express myself. I build to show what I can do. I build to show what Lego can do. I build as an Artist would paint a beautiful illustration. Some of the things I keep in mind when I build are the ussual type stuff: What am I building (I (...) (23 years ago, 16-Jun-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build.mecha)
