Thanks Bryce! Actually the accuracy of the cannon is decreased by more th 50% when the mecha is airborne. However, the cannon is already so advanced that it can still shoot reasonably well. (...) (23 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Well, if this thing going to replace tanks, it's going to have be deployed in the same environments as tanks :) Glad you like the Scimitar. Yes, more wing stuff to follow, I'm very pleased with the way this new one is comming out. I'll have to send it on a covert mission during the 12 days of Christmas to hi-jack some parts from you, I'll have to program evasive manuvers to avoid MAP (...) Thanks Travis! Funny you say urban combat, I always pictures this as a desert (or any other wide open space in which a sniper-like mecha can just pick off enemies), or jungle (lots of nice cover, again, here sniper-like mecha has and advantage) (...) (23 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
