Re: New Mecha and .DAT file for Chieftain!

Argh! How did I miss this last night? Another score for Mladen. I dig on the "flying" pics. I image you mech hovering and just picking off targets one by one. Ah the thrill of a new mech...I'm going to sit back and soak up some inspiration. Bryce (...) (23 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mecha and .DAT file for Chieftain!

Yes, more wing stuff to follow, I'm very pleased with the way this new one is comming out. I'll have to send it on a covert mission during the 12 days of Christmas to hi-jack some parts from you, I'll have to program evasive manuvers to avoid MAP (...) I would like to thank all of you at Lugnet for your comments regarding ZERO. I appreciate all for your input and I will execute all suggested changes if I ever get the opportunity to do so. Bobby (Neo-Oz) (...) (23 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

(...) really (...) No, it was becoming a big, ugly behemoth. The colour scheme just didn't work, and lacked structural integrity. (...) Thanks! Mladen Pejic, over and out! (URL) (...) (23 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Hey Mark!

(...) Well, I admit, I've done this too. :^) I have a new mecha idea, but it's gonna have to wait until the weekend. ~Grand Admiral Muffin Head (23 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mecha and .DAT file for Chieftain!

(...) Aw, dang... I was hoping you were still working on that carrier. :^( (...) Heh. Don't think I've ever seen anyone camo their mecha with the plant pieces before. Cool! I think the yellow stripes might make it stand out a bit tho. ;^) ~Grand (...) (23 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mecha and .DAT file for Chieftain!

Thanks Travis! Funny you say urban combat, I always pictures this as a desert (or any other wide open space in which a sniper-like mecha can just pick off enemies), or jungle (lots of nice cover, again, here sniper-like mecha has and advantage) (...)   Re: New Mecha and .DAT file for Chieftain!

Woo hoo! :^D This is a really nice one! It doesn't look as big as the others, but it has a really eye pleasing look to it. Maybe that because you make really good use of the blue and yellow color scheme and you use those SW racing fins so well. I (...) (23 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Hey Mark!

(...) Actually I've been cutting throwbot pieces since they first came out to get the ball and socket joints. I know it's a mortal sin but it's a lot cheaper then getting the c3p0's. I actually just finished a Zaku based on Dave Thomas Jr.'s design (...) (23 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

New Mecha and .DAT file for Chieftain!

  Re: Hey Mark!

(...) Yeah, I actually broke down and bought a set. Actually, it's not that bad; although I refused to actually build the model, it came with a lot of useful Technic parts, as well as the five ball and socket joints. I also like the gold technic (...)
