Re: My first foray(s) into "The New Frontier"

(...) Thanks! I've tried larger scale mechs before, but the joints never work out, or something like that, so right now the small ones work for me. :-) But I'd like to have a go at a Technic skeleton surrounded by plates with gear driven joints (...)   Re: wallpaper added to my site

Travis, I really like the new renders of the golem and the A19. You have a very military color scheme that adds realim to both models. On a different note I can't get the wallpaper to load...broken link? More likely just my silly error. I dunno. (...) (23 years ago, 19-Apr-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Hardygun Mk II

(...) Heh. :^) (...) Thanks. (...) Yes. It's also to allow for the Technic chains to flex without being too stiff or snapping apart. I can move the arms around without creating too much stress on the chain. (...) :^) ~1st Lieutenant, Fleebnork (...) (23 years ago, 19-Apr-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

  Re: Hardygun Mk II

(...) Great Mark! (1) That is some excellent work, man! The only thing that seems a bit odd are the ammo feeds to the guns - they just seem a bit long and 'droopy' - is that to allow for arm movement? Gotta stare at this one for a while longer.. (...) Very cool ships- and they definitely tie in well with "Fleebnork" Sandlin's racers. The mecha are nice too. It's amazing what can be done with even a small number of parts put together right. -- Tony Hafner www.hafhead.com (...) (23 years ago, 18-Apr-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

(...) Very cool, Chris! You've got a real knack for those tiny SD looking mecha guys. I think my favorites have to be the Gorilla, Thwomp, and Angel models. Very nice first outing into the Mecha world. ~Nathan (23 years ago, 18-Apr-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
