well, thank you all for correcting me... battletech is about the only place from whence i know a great deal of mechs... it is pretty obvious how they stole some of their designs, although i'm afraid i haven't seen many anime with mecha that look (...) (...) Actually, the "Warhammer" was a design lifted from the Robotech series, which was in turn lifted from several Anime series. The "Raidar X" mecha was one of 13 (IIRC) designs FASA was forced to 'give back' to the company that produced Robotech. (...) (24 years ago, 21-Mar-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Yes Making a larger Robot based on this design, It would be great, I see what you are saying about exploring the use of the ball and socket design, there's somthing great about a prototype right?
