  Re: New Bi-Pedal Mecha

(...) Thank you! I don't think I've ever heard of that game, then again, I don't play to many RPGs (shooters all the way!!!). Mladen Pejic, over and out! (URL) (...) (24 years ago, 23-Feb-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

I really wanted to make a nice, small, detail mecha that would be easy to transport in an atmospheric craft. I also got some inspiration from (...) (24 years ago, 23-Feb-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Very cool Mech! Reminds me somewhat of the Jager (and a couple other Triax 'bots) from the Rifts RPG. Its got some nifty features I haven't seen in lego mechs before... cg-88@home.com Mladen Pejic <milovan@netcom.ca> wrote in message (...) (24 years ago, 23-Feb-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Interesting "exposed pilot" design. What was your inspiration for doing that? I like all the fins on the back. Makes it look like it would hover around and go *zoom* a lot. :^) ~Grand Admiral Muffin Head (24 years ago, 23-Feb-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  New Bi-Pedal Mecha

(URL) is going to be part of my newest LEGO model. I am going to build a fairly large, futuristic cargo plane which will carry 4 (or more) of these type of "Para-Mecha"... (...) legs. Neat, simple head design. Also like the thing you did with the wall sections and grill tiles on the back. Later, Todd (24 years ago, 22-Feb-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Thanks guys. I feel its a definite improvement over my last anthropoid effort, "Samson". I took Mark Sandlin's advice about detailing the back a little more. I glad you liked my foot and hip designs. Ever since I got those new ball joints I've (...) (24 years ago, 22-Feb-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Todd, I see you've moved into the technic axle ball socket joints very well. This new mech looks great. I can't believe you fit a cockpit into it. I can't seem to fit a cockpit into any of my mechs. Very cool whip. I also like to ankle joint (...) (24 years ago, 22-Feb-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) That's cool- I especially like the head. I'm trying to use those curved pieces a bit more these days. But I don't expect I'll ever do highly-articulated mecha like this. It's just not my area. And I have enough trouble getting time to work on (...) (24 years ago, 22-Feb-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
