The first time I saw Dave Schuler's Lego ED-209, I was amazed! I thought it was one of the coolest mini-mechs I'd ever seen. (URL) Mark Sandlin took the idea a step further with a revamping of the design...a streamlining if you will. radically (...) Well, if you're going to be so persistent on the praise, I guess I'll have to drop the modest :) But all joking aside, thanks again. As for the hatch, the original mecha was built around the hatch.
