Re: AZOTH - close combat mech

Hello! Clean and neat design! I see you also rebuilt the legs and feet. Maybe instead of a stand, you could create a lite mech bay to prop it up. Just a thought. Wow those are some jet boosters! Wonderful photography. I liked seeing the presentation (...) (17 years ago, 25-Nov-07, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: AZOTH - close combat mech

(...) I don't normally follow the .mecha group, but I saw this model posted on the LUGNET front page, and I have to say that I really, REALLY like this mech. Visually, it just seems to me to capture that anime spirit really well. (It makes me think (...) (17 years ago, 23-Nov-07, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(2 URLs) Full gallery> <url=(URL) Flickr> Hooray for Thanksgiving holiday builds. This uses a basic click joint frame (based on Izzo's and Nnenn's click joint frames), which was a pain due to my blocky style of building and resulting heaviness. Next (...) (...) Freaky even!! (...) Thanks, Fradel. As you probably figured out by now, I am a total Battletech junkie.   Re: New Mecha: The Balrog

(...) Well I tried to reply to this earlier but for some reason it did not take. So here it is from what I can reproduce from memory: It is kind of a coincidence but earlier this morning I was perusing through my 3055 manual in the Inner Shpere-Clan (...)   Brickshelf Find! MicVash gallery

Hey gang. While surfing the 'shelf I found a builder new to the Mecha genre. The look of his mechs and the simple joint-tech caught my eye. The combinations of common pieces for join-tech were something I didn't even realize when I tried making my (...) (17 years ago, 6-Nov-07, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: 3 New Mecha

(...) Thanks, E I've been trying to improve the flow and color schemes of my designs as of late. As well as, try new methods of construction within the range of what I am comfortable with doing.   Re: 3 New Mecha

(...) Thanks, Marco Glad you like them. As far as that pistol is concerned, the design was a total accident. I originally was going to have all three toes be 1 stud wide like the toes on the side of the feet, but ran into posability problems. I had (...)   Re: 3 New Mecha

(...) Thanks Fradel In reference to the Taunt, can you post a pic of what piece you're referring to? As far as the inspiration for the design of the Ichneumen, Cicada Killer, and the Fidget 2, I used the Chameleon. It's an old design as far as the (...)   Re: 3 New Mecha

Hello Jon, very well done. What I like on those three is the playability (like always). The modular Weapons on the Watcher are really nice. But my absolute favourite is the gun on the upper/right arm: (URL) Keep building and posting (URL) Marco> (17 years ago, 28-Oct-07, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: 3 New Mecha

(...) NIce job on the omnimech refit. I dig the weapons modularity and the pose in pic Watcher-1. The Taunt remindes me of that Inner Shere battlesuit from the TV show. I'm not sold on the canopy, have you tried something like the RGS canopy? The (...) (17 years ago, 27-Oct-07, to lugnet.build.mecha)
