Re: someone in the club tonight has stolen my ideas...

(...) I'm not entirely sure that it's a spoof. (Okay, I *am* sure it isn't, but still...) Check out how fast Rodimustron can scoot -- a whopping 9,999...999 m.p.h.! If you're getting that close to 10, but *still* can't quite reach it, then those (...) (24 years ago, 24-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: someone in the club tonight has stolen my ideas...

Hi Joel, I was shocked when I saw what this person stole and put on his site. Disgusting! I immediately e-mailed him/her, but the message never got through. Can you please tell me his/her e-mail address. We should really start a section of LUGNET (...) (24 years ago, 24-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: 4 New Mecha @ Moonbase Io

(...) Very, very cool! I especially like Thor's industrial look and the all around coolness of Katipo! One suggestion, though. Thoguh it seems like you use a regular color scheme, I think it would help the visual quality of your models tremendously (...) (24 years ago, 24-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

someone in the club tonight has stolen my ideas...

Hi all, I am just posting this notice to anyone that may have models on the following page: (URL) person emailed me the url to this page, and to my surprise, it had models that I have seen here on Lugnet in the past, and to my shock, it had one of (...)   Re: Oh no, not another Spider Mech...

(...) *smirk* Well, since the legs really aren't particularly mobile, and this mech won't be jumping much, I'll likely just cost it as if it were a tank, as that's basically what it is. And tell me Gino, do you dislike anything that'll challenge you (...) (24 years ago, 24-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) its been a week and a half since i've been online finaly a return to find this! (my computer was screwed up <i'm right now on a new one though>) you make working with throwbot parts look easy...i was playing around with them and...well i cant (...)   Re: 4 New Mecha @ Moonbase Io

You did a really good job at bulking up those thro bot pieces! Ive been wrestling with this one for a while for various creations. I came up with a similar solution using the pins and beams you mentioned but you went way past that. I love how lanky (...) (24 years ago, 24-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Re: 4 New Mecha @ Moonbase Io

Nice mecha! However, why does the "Emu" have such large legs, and yet has such a small upper "body"? As for the new technique, it's been here since, Ron & Randy, Karim Nassar, Me, and many, many other mecha builders. Again, nice mecha! (...)   RE: 4 New Mecha @ Moonbase Io

(...) Hmm. Even though I don't like Throwbots, you make these look very good using their parts. Very nice. (...) I like it. Of course, I like lots of Quad designs. (...) That looks quite odd. The legs look similar to Mladen's Mirage's legs, and the (...) (24 years ago, 24-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

4 New Mecha @ Moonbase Io

After recently aquiring several 2x1 two-hole and 1x1 beam bricks from LEGO S@H, as well as several 1x4 grill mounting plates and 3' friction pins, I've developed a new technique for adding badly needed "studded bulk" to the throwbot limbs in my (...)   MB mecha

I'm delurknig to throw a thought out. I also don't cruise in enough to know if this was already discussed, but at my local Target I saw that MB now has 4 mecha models. They're actually quite nice. We've been tooling around with this kind of thing (...) (24 years ago, 24-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Ummm... It's just from one of the best and most popular manga, _Ghost in the Shell_. I even posted and xcompare.jpg on brickshelf so people could compare it without reading the manga... Thanks anyway! (...) (24 years ago, 24-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Micro-Fig Fuchikoma

Thanks Jon! After I saw your Fuchikoma, I said hey, why don't I build a micro-fig one. A shrine? Sure. Mini-fig Fuchikoma? Already thinging about it! Can't wait to see your's! (...) (24 years ago, 24-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Oh no, not another Spider Mech...

(...) Well, since somebody mentioned that the Kobold looked "organic", I figured it's only fair. Besides, I like the organic look more than the block style that many mecha sport. (...) born (...) Interesting. I prefer non-biped Mechs to be quadropeds only, but an octoped is interesting anyway. You also made it an arachnomorphic design. Cool! (24 years ago, 24-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)
