  Technic-figure scale guns.

Hey guys. I just finished reading the four Appleseed books and have been flipping through my old copy of Ghost in the Shell. I made a Fuchikoma thats about technic figure scale although the figure can't fit in it-- its kind of like the large Gakken (...)   Re: What is that mysterious green thing?

(...) In gundam terms, they're called "Beam Swords". This leads to all kinds of things like "Beam Sheilds" and "Beam Javelins" as well. eric (24 years ago, 16-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Although not a real mecha...

(...) :) (...) Thanks (...) All parts were built in real life although I just built one leg and one side of the body. I had to build it because I didn't know if everything would fit. (...) Absolutely! although the foot-lower leg connection uses a (...) (24 years ago, 16-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: What is that mysterious green thing?

(...) Don't worry Gino, I doubt I'll be fielding this guy in a game of brikwars. He's just too big, and would likely cost way too much in CP. After all, he is something like 15 inches tall (I haven't fully measured him yet, though) about as tall as (...) (24 years ago, 16-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Although not a real mecha...

Nope sorry, Because I didn't want to use the click-hinges the joints are solid. Although the leg-body and foot-lower leg connections do move. Greetz, Jay (...) (24 years ago, 16-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: What is that mysterious green thing?

(...) looks (...) I don't like it. I don't like it one bit. Well, more accurately, I don't like the prospect of facing it in battle. I better keep working. It looks cool. Later, Gino A... (24 years ago, 16-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Although not a real mecha...

Sure it's mecha... Wow! I love the way you did the joints, very creative! I also like the upper body, and the front chin mounted laser cannons, great job! Questions: Did you build it in real life? Are the joints strong? What is that thingy in the (...) (24 years ago, 16-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: What is that mysterious green thing?

(...) Hrm, an array of orange missiles...that idea has some bizarre comedic merit :) (...) then, (...) I'm working on it. I figured when it was midnight last night and I had to be at work in 7 hours, it might be time to stop playing with the lego (...) (24 years ago, 16-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: What is that mysterious green thing?

(...) Maybe if you gave him some li'l pumpkins to throw. (...) Looks cool. Now you just need to give him some big ol' weapons. :^D ~Mark (24 years ago, 16-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Although not a real mecha...

Heck, yeah... it may be Star Wars, but I think it still qualifies as a mecha. Question: Do the joints move? ~Mark (24 years ago, 16-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Although not a real mecha...

It looks a little like it IMO. Anyway I would like some input on my latest creation: The Star Wars All Terrain Personal Transport. Find it at:(URL) from a sunny Holland, Jay (24 years ago, 16-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: What is that mysterious green thing?

Ouch! That's so cool it hurts! ;-) Finally a real life green mecha, can't wait to see the rest (and with weapons)! (...) looks (...) (24 years ago, 16-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

What is that mysterious green thing?

Here's a sneak preview of my very first mecha. It's currently named Green Goblin, but we'll see if that name sticks. I don't particularly think he looks like a goblin. Fully poseable, lots of joints, no weaponry yet. I'll likely have a little more (...) (24 years ago, 16-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Female mecha

(...) I'll have to have my wife start ASAP!! If we can get something done that looks good enough to take pictures (I'm not sure if you remember my wife's first MOC.. so this will be her first Mecha!) then I'll bring it up for LDW! -mark (24 years ago, 15-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Female mecha

(...) Yup - Since my wife will be building this, she will be thinking more of "building a female robot". (...) definitely (...) to (...) Good point about physically having some female characteristics... I believe it's not easy to build a good (...) (24 years ago, 15-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  My First Space Mech

Hello everyone, it's been a while since I posted anything, so I decided I'd share my first Space World creation with you all. It's Vincent Gage's Mech (name subject to change :). You castle-heads will know who Vincent is, but for everyone else, he's (...) (24 years ago, 15-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.castle, lugnet.space)

  Re: Bridget

(...) ...Seawater may be transparent to it, but seems to me all the stuffe floating in the water from plankton to detritus would cause a problem. the dispersion from all the detritus would prolly use up a great deal of the energy put into the laser (...)   Re: Female mecha

(...) Well, maybe... Maybe I'm biased because I think of the Queadlunn-Rau I associate it with the female pilots, but when you see it move, it is definitely female, IMHO. And when compared to the male Zentraedi mecha, it seems to me to be very (...) (24 years ago, 15-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Female mecha

(...) Yeah, that's it. I totally blanked. I loved that game at one point, even had the (greatly inferior) home version for the Sega. eric (24 years ago, 15-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)
