Re: Herakles: A Endoskeleton type thingie

(...) Just say no to steroids... This is another fine example of Ranjo Bionicle engineering. The hands rule - maybe the best Bionicle hands I've seen yet. The hoses also give a very mechanorganic feel to the model. If Lego made Bionicle sets like (...) (20 years ago, 15-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Herakles: A Endoskeleton type thingie

(...) Thanks Allister! Those parts come in the new Toa Hordika sets. The bummer though is that there is only one per!! Yikes! It's basically the head piece. The mask attaches to it. Jeff (20 years ago, 15-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Ball Joint Frame ZRX1 version

The double ball joints are very cleaver and the level of articulation is impressive. I had spent some time messing with the things awhile back and gave up due to lack of stiffness -- clearly you solved that problem. Brent (20 years ago, 15-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Herakles: A Endoskeleton type thingie

(...) Solid, as always. Love the use of the Toa Metru head piece as just... a head. Very menacing. Hope it's not in any contest I'm part of, or I just lost! Great use of the Pakari as chest pieces, too. Are those silver? Hard to tell with the (...) (20 years ago, 15-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Very nicely sculpted. What piece are the fingers made of? I never new that part existed, but now I've seen it I NEED to get some. By golly they'll be useful. Cheers, Allister (20 years ago, 15-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Herakles: A Endoskeleton type thingie

If the hulk was a terminator... (URL) for a contest that is currently going on. Hands! It has hands!! Look! (URL) also has alot of articulation but had to lock down the knees for dynamic posing and to bear the weight. My favorite part is the back. I (...) (20 years ago, 14-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: One eyed, one horned, flyin' PPE...

(...) Thanks for the cross post. It didn't quites seem "mecha-ish" to me initially. Get Well! (20 years ago, 14-Mar-05, to lugnet.org.us.sealug, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Request to move .mecha

We (the curators of .mecha, Mark Neumann and Eric Sophie) have been talking for a while amongst ourselves about moving .mecha to a location that makes it easier to find mecha related stuff on Lugnet. I am formally requesting that .mecha be moved (...) (20 years ago, 14-Mar-05, to lugnet.admin.suggestions, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: One eyed, one horned, flyin' PPE...

SNIPPED You sicken me. I never thought that anything more weird than the MPP or Soren's Belville fig of death could ever crop up, but it seems I've been proved wrong. This is like a Barney that has some funny mutation thing going. Gross. In other (...) (20 years ago, 14-Mar-05, to lugnet.org.us.sealug, lugnet.build.mecha)
