  Re: Power Armor Mercenary Team

(...) Hey dude. It's a line(with different variations) often used in war/military sci-fi movies. If you ever watch the Dirty Dozen, Donald Southerland character says something like it when he poses as a general during a unit inspection. I think it (...) Sweet Mother of Nuggetrons!. I just noticed the blue fig torsos. You could make a pretty wicked gothic version if you used solid minifigs like on Steve Decraemer's Cathedral. Much love yo. F (20 years ago, 5-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Orbital Boost Frame and I'm back!

(...) Wow, I just checked the sidebar, and we've got spider walkers from Brayton and Allister, Jason's Gundam, and now your Orbital Boost Frame. That's a sidebar with plenty of coolness. I think the head, chest and waist are the real highlights, (...) (20 years ago, 5-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(...) I don't know where that line's from! It sounds so familiar, but I just can't place it. (20 years ago, 5-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(...) thanks, bro. the legs were the first component i worked on. in fact, the whole creation was built around the legs. it took awhile to come up with the right shape. my first attempt was a couple of years ago and its failure led to my "rotgeist". (...) wow! to be compared to the "great one" is a tremendous compliment (i know, it only REMINDS you of gla's style, but let me bask in the moment)! as for cleanliness, this is the first successful "studless" creation i've done. as for building (...) (...) Thanks Eric. On small stuff like this I prefer to put in as much detail as possible. Anywhere something can be attached I try and fill it. I'm not as happy with the colors. This thing is beautiful. Your style reminds me of Gla-gla. Very clean, studless, and semi-greebly. Hurry up and build something else. -Brayton (20 years ago, 5-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

In fact the look and feel of the entire leg structure is very pleasing. The feet are well done. (...) (20 years ago, 4-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
