Re: So I was building a robot...

(...) Well, I never thought of it that way:) Imagine an assmebly line of RoboJeeves...wow. One of the goofiest sights I can imagine. And off this goes to .mecha! Joe .space paparazzi who's going to be at BrickFest 2004 Washington DC! (20 years ago, 4-Jun-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Hardsuit Redesign

(...) holy carp! this thing knocked my socks off! there is nothing i dislike about this mecha. as you may know, i also occasionally revisit a mecha and make it better. the results are always positive, and your moc is no exception. i really like the (...)   Re: Giant Demonic Armor!

(...) --SNIP-- (...) A kindred spirit! This is much closer to Mecha than my Castle/Mech hybrids, I'd say. I'm always going after organicness with my creations, so really the only 'mech' part about them is the way they work internally. I think you've (...) (20 years ago, 3-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Three-part fighter and robotic spy

(...) Thank you. (...) Um, you may be confusing the chicken and the egg here. I actually made the LDraw file first, then attempted to make the wings in real life. Unfortunately one of the things that LDraw can't simulate is gravity. I soon (...) (20 years ago, 3-Jun-04, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Ronin attack mecha

(...) Thanks, I kinda liked the helmet too. (...) I was thinking along the same lines. Thanks for the valuable input and compliments! Chris McNamee (20 years ago, 3-Jun-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Ronin attack mecha

(...) Hey Chris, nice mecha you've got there! Cool way to use that wedge plate for a helmet decoration. Very old school classic leg design, never a bad way to go. But with something this big, those arms look kinda wimpy. I'd suggest beefing them up (...) (20 years ago, 3-Jun-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Hardsuit Redesign

(...) Wow. There is not one single thing on this guy I don't like. Everything seems exactly perfect for its assigned purpose. Great use of shovels on the guns, some really cool joint tech (I'm getting skooled bigtime), great color usage, awesome (...) (20 years ago, 3-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: New MOC: Pirate Landmate

(...) Nice addition to your LM series. I really like the color assymetry with this little guy. Cool feet too. -Chris (20 years ago, 3-Jun-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Civilian exosuit

(...) I'd like to, but this moc is so hard to see! Black really eats up the light when taking pics. From what I do make out, I like the look of that helmet for a hip, and the cockpit area is nice. -Chris (20 years ago, 3-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Giant Demonic Armor!

(...) The little bitty armored head is very nice, as is the bristly look of the beast and the splash of color you added. Some great weapons going on there too. Looks a bit big in the shoulders for the legs you've got on him, but maybe that adds to (...) (20 years ago, 3-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Ronin attack mecha

Just a mech I built to try a few new (old) techniques, cause I'm still learning. I felt it came out good enough to post, so here it is! (URL) McNamee (20 years ago, 3-Jun-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Hardsuit Redesign

(...) photo snip (...) You took a great hardsuit and made it an awesome pint-sized Gundam/Matrix APU hybird. Sweet! This thing has got to be in the running for Best Hardsuit Ever. Thanks for posting. (20 years ago, 3-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Hardsuit Redesign

This mecha / hardsuit is fantastic! It looks like some tropical forest mech I find in some of the French comics I read (Travis for the ones who read the same stuffs - lot of inspiration - a (URL) link> to the cover I am thinking of). I saw the (...) (20 years ago, 3-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Hardsuit Redesign

(...) snip pic (...) snip pic (...) Woah! I like the busy torso & the tapering shovels on the guns. I'd probably go with only 2 arms myself, but the 4 arms do fit the 'busy' look of the mecha. The round tiles on either side of the knee & the (...) (20 years ago, 3-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Hardsuit Redesign

Duuu...uuude. That's niiice. The arms are perfect now, the guns are big and shooty and I still can't figure out how it's built :). Great work. You should put it up on MOCpages so I can give it the five stars it deserves. Soren (20 years ago, 3-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New MOC: Pirate Landmate

Nice lil'landmate! Cheers (and bad puns), JP. (20 years ago, 3-Jun-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Hardsuit Redesign

I got bored so I rebuilt the arms of my hardsuit and added weaponry. There is also a little boost pack on the rear. (3 URLs) Comments would be appreciated. -Brayton (20 years ago, 3-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
