(2 URLs) I don't post here much, but every once in a while I like to have the Lugnet crew's opinions, so tell me what you think! mischief (21 years ago, 13-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Battlesuit ancestor?

(URL) heard about this kind of thing previously, but this is the first time I've seen a picture of it. Please FUT to whichever group seems most appropriate. Dave! (21 years ago, 11-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Itsy Bitsy Spider...

(...) Yeah, Hammer is coming soon. I'm hoping Mladen gets so wrapped up kicking my poor little spiders around that Mladen's kick a** multi legged mecha don't see the Hammer striking the anvil. So to speak. It's sad in a way, I love my MOCs but I'm (...) (21 years ago, 9-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  C-3PO Star Wars Miniland Figure

The Bad News: He ignored Han’s advice – he didn’t let the Wookie win. The Good News: He’s made of LEGO – his arms can be put right back on!   Re: Itsy Bitsy Spider...

Mark, epic, creepy spider-mecha, but where is the Hammer!? Time to bring the Hammer down on the competition. Back to the spider, nice economical cockpit that doesnt detract from the insectoid shape, and the abdomen missle launcher is a great (...) (21 years ago, 9-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: A couple mini-mechs

Excellent job, Peter! Proof that cool things can come in small packages. I'm quite fond of the Demolisher, as it's more mecha-like. Great overall design. The Raider is more mech-like with it's reverse-kneed goodness. Still cool. though as the (...) (21 years ago, 9-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: A couple mini-mechs

Wow, for such small mechs they have great detail, my favorite would have to be the demolisher. The legs seem to go perfectly with the rest of the body and the dual chainsaws are nice! I also really like the method you used with the hinges for the (...) (21 years ago, 9-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  A couple mini-mechs

I thought I'd share a couple relatively mini-mechs I've been working on. (URL) The Demolisher is a former heavy lifting/building demolition mech now outfitted for combat.   Re: Itsy Bitsy Spider...

(...) Thanks Lenny, I hear you. The legs kind of bug me because of the holes, but the shape more than makes up for it. I went to cover and build on the legs but then I lost the slenderness and "spideryness" (word?) of them. Once I started to build (...) (21 years ago, 8-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Itsy Bitsy Spider...

Thanks for the commments. (...) Hmmm, perhaps not. But remember, in the Cockpit of a MWP, no one can hear you scream.... "Where are the signals coming from?!?! They're everywhere man! I can't get a lock... aaahahggggg...**static**" mwhahahahahah! (...) (21 years ago, 8-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Itsy Bitsy Spider...

-snip- (...) -snip- Mark, The body of this is very cool - I always love seeing something that looks like a real animal, but is actually a robot-mech - especially how you did the cockpit - it is very nice. The body of the spider itself is also very (...) (21 years ago, 8-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Itsy Bitsy Spider...

(...) Absolutely delightful old chap! :-) Heh, Mark, that's an awesome "spider" mech. The guns up front are classic Neumann. I also like the colour scheme you chose, and the Technic leg construction that you employed. The spinner works too, 'cause (...) (21 years ago, 8-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Itsy Bitsy Spider...

Time for some new stuff. A mech along the same ilk as the Black Eagle. Make it look as real as possible and then make it a mech.   Re: Two New MOCs and Diorama

(...) <snip> These little bots are cool. I've been working on some bot-type bodies so I can stick minifig heads/helmets on them so they look like power-armor soldiers. You've given me some good ideas! My Legos, like yours, fear the wrath of my cat. (...) (21 years ago, 7-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: it has been a VERY long time

Nice to have you back. She's a little rough, but the basic concept is sound. Polish it up a bit, smooth the excess colors out and you'll have a real winner on your hands. Also, more pictures please! Soren (21 years ago, 6-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)
