I've posted Construction Notes on the M450 SkyRacer on Brickshelf. While
these are not step by step instructions, I think there are enough pictures
to demonstrate how most of this model was made.

There are plenty of examples of SNOT (Studs Not On Top) construction. My
M400 Skycar (version 1) also used many of these techniques.

It still amazes me how many different ways Lego pieces can be put together.
