Re: Classic Contest Entries —Tony Hafner
Another day brings another entry. Today I present the Astro Stalker: (URL) not sure which category to put this one in, so I'm asking for help. Opinions, please! Which of these categories does it belong in? 6. Walker Vehicles (any size, 1000 pieces (...) (24 years ago, 14-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

Re: Classic Contest Entries —Jon Palmer
I actually did "laugh out loud" when I saw this. Its really kinda cute. To answer your question: I suppose it could go in any one of those categories but personally it would be neat as a ground based poly bag set. Tell ya what, if you enter it in (...)          Re: Classic Contest Entries —Tony Hafner
(...) Thanks! It's sitting right next to my keyboard at work, and is somewhat distracting. I can't help but pick it up and twiddle the legs every once in a while. (...) Yes- I really think we need another polybag category. Todd? While we're on the (...) (24 years ago, 14-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

Re: Classic Contest Entries —Tobias Möller
I'm so jealous! You have one, but I don't ^-^ I suppose I could build my own, but I don't have the classic space nose piece, I have a red M:tron one instead. It wouldn't be the same thing. --Tobias (...) (24 years ago, 18-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

Re: Classic Contest Entries —Kyle Keppler
hehehehehe, I actually did "laugh out loud" too! It is very funny (but cool) looking... It kind of looks like the mythical centaur... <still chuckling> Nice work! (...) (24 years ago, 14-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

ROFL That's a great model! Seriously! Although I'm laughing, it looks really cool, fun to drive, and it's THE way to get over that sandy lunar surface! Great work! --Toobias (...) (24 years ago, 17-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

Re: Classic Contest Entries —Trevor Pruden
Nice job! What is the walker doing in one of the pics...chasing the pilot? Or is it trying to kick the pilot in the seat of his pants? Hey, what set does the semi-technic, um, "nose cone" come in white with a classic space symbol? Anyone? What an (...) (24 years ago, 17-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

Re: Classic Contest Entries —Tony Hafner
(...) Thanks! The walker is chasing him, about to drop its front legs upon his head with extreme prejudice. This is just after the space fig insulted its fine robotic heritage. (...)         Re: Classic Contest Entries —Kyle D. Jackson
(...) That's a great model, love it! I think the use of the steering wheel for something other than a steering wheel is pretty inventive. I've seen that done before, but I can't remember if it was in a set, an alternate, or an idea book. (I remember (...) (24 years ago, 18-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

(...) Not a marker- that plate just has some really nasty grime in a couple of places. I picked it up in an auction a while back.      (...) Hehe, okay Tony. I was curious because I have a 920 Launch Pad that I markered some of the studs on when I was a kid.         Re: Classic Contest Entries —Jonathan Mizner
(...) Well it really could fit any of those categories. Maybe they should create a category for entries that cannot be decided on.
