I think it would be fun to see teams of people battling it out at an
in-person building event/tournament where the objects is to out-schleim the
other teams and come up with really cool SNOT MOCs on the spot. Thered have
to be some kind of judging panel and voting...or maybe fest attendees could
vote with their ticket stubs in jars. Maybe the first round/day would see 8
teams battle down to 4, and then the next day 4 down to 2, and on the last
day the final battle. Maybe there could be a special prize for the ugliest
frankenschleim.
In each round, each team would be given the same collection of parts to use.
One to six people per team. The team would have one hour to build the
coolest MOC they can come up with. The more schleim the better. Subsequent
rounds would use different selections of parts, but always each team would
start with the same exact parts as the other teams.
As an added twist, and to heighten the challenge, allow teams to negotiate
parts swaps with other teams. But make sure that the total number of parts
held by each team always remains constant to discourage disingenousness.
Anyone else think this might be fun?
