For me, I start with pen sketches in boring meetings. Sicne my building time
is way limited, this is often as far as I go.
If I get a chance to build something, I pick a color scheme that I have
enough parts in (if I need airplane windows, it will probably be white, if I
need lots of inverse and regular slopes, it will probably be red).
Then, I build in small, half hour increments late at night. When I hit a
stumbling block, I stop building and start thinking about it. When I get a
solution, I start building again. A small vehicle can take me a month or so
with my limited time.
Thanks,
George
