Attn: Anyone entering BT1 Contest - I'll be gone for the weekend...

I'm going to Vegas (baby, Vegas) for the weekend and I'll be updating the webpage on Jan 1st. So happy New Years everyone, and good luck to those of you (like myself) who procrastinated! ~ Tom (25 years ago, 30-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

Blacktron Contest Entry: One Man Shuttle

Hi, Here is my second entry for the Blacktron I space contest: (URL) is a small one man shuttle with 2 transport holds. It just fits into category I with either 49 or 50 pieces, depending on whether you count the minifig head/torso combo as one (...) (...) of the BT1 Renegade in flight. As nice as it is (and it might make a good wallpaper for BT1 fans), I doubt that it would be considered a MOC... Cheers, -Hendo (25 years ago, 29-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

  Re: The Blacktron Arrow

(...) S'Cool. Having done my entry in MLCAD/POVRay as well, I gotta ask: "How'd you do the hoses?" I was gonna add some (it doesn't seem completely BT1 w/o yellow hoses), but trying to build the things segment by segment caused much blurriness of (...) (...) And I don't usually make buildings... but I did enjoy a change...and a chance to use some of my bricks (since most of my cars and things are usually made of plates and specialty parts). Perhaps I'll try a few other buildings after I finish my (...) (25 years ago, 29-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.build.contests)

(...) Yah, I didn't even get the joke. ;) (...) Thanks! (...) The stairs are a bit too narrow, and the car has no interior, but otherwise, yes, it is compatible with minifigs. I was going to make a party scene, but then I got lazy, especially since (...) (25 years ago, 29-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.build.contests)

(...) Bram, your studio is what Le Corbusier might have reached if he hadn't all those problems with the sea. (Ok, so that was a poor joke...) Very nice. It is incredibly elegant. Is it minifig-compatible? Pedro (25 years ago, 28-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.build.contests)

Amazing! I was just skimming through here for Blacktron contest entries and decided to take a glance at this - I'm normally a space fan, but this work is awesome! The curves, and the detail in stair well. Very nice work! ~ Tom Bram Lambrecht (...) (25 years ago, 28-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.build.contests)
