Re: Getting down to the wire on ISCC II

Thanks for the timely reminder, Larry! Q. Can anyone tell me if it is OK to submit a picture of the "real thing" as part of the entry? I have modelled a real building and would like to include a picture of the real building. Kerry (24 years ago, 20-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.contests)

Re: ISCC II Moc: MAYA Land

(...) Hi Erik, Thanks for your comments When I designed the stairs, I had a few problems since I really needed that the slops on the side will flow with it. The main idea was to try making it as accurate as I could to the originals, though those (...) (24 years ago, 18-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.build.ancient, lugnet.cad)

Re: ISCC II Moc: MAYA Land

Hey Yaron, thanks, this is the first Ancient Americas MOC I recall in awhile. Somehow studs look good on Mayan pyramids, maybe because I'm prepared to see them somewhat "greebly". The few smooth slopes you use make a nice counterpoint. The greenery (...) (24 years ago, 16-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.build.ancient, lugnet.cad)

Re: MichLUG Logo contest deadline approaching - Extension

  ISCC II Moc: MAYA Land

Hi everybody, Just wanted to interest you all, with the MOC I constructed (well not built due to lack of parts). I was always impressed by the astonishing piramids of the Mayas and wanted to built those for ages. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't (...)   Lame Parts Entry II - Lamestar Heavy Fighter

Gaining even more inspiration from Adrian Drake's fine entry, I have finally put up my second Lame parts entry.
