My grandfather is an architect that studied under one of Frank Lloyd Wright
assistants and he designed many churches, homes, and office buildings in my
city.  I figure that I noticed this "Wrightesk" aesthetic in my own designs
and figured it was ingrained subconsciously in my brain while growing up.
My spin on the style is being tall and looming, where Wright was low and was
courteous to the landscape.  Most of my designs are contemporary and clean,
with a tendency to be tall with sharp lines.

Anyway, the comment about it looking like a church is not one I haven’t
noticed myself.  I love the look of churches, and have always wanted to live
in one that had been converted into a home.

Well, here is my newest house... and I furnished it at the direction of
Shiri... THANKS!!! I didn't think I could do it, but the furniture came our
decent. Not great, but decent.

I like the house and all the interior detail. One comment I do have though is
that when I first saw it (I was just scanning Brickshelf last night), my first
impression was "Church".
