Finally got enough pics and descriptions to post my Great Wall of China Lego
MOC which will be my entry to the Ancients Theme 2001.
The pics are at:

http://web.tampabay.rr.com/kkqwebpage/

The designs feature:
- look and feel of the Great Wall of China
- a wall that snakes around and up and down
- interpretations of elements like the beacon towers and the Jade Gate Fort
- completely modular using what I call the Great Wall Component System
(GWCS)a phrase originally coined by Richard Schamus (Component Wall Castle
System)

On this my last day of being the Cool Lego Site of the Week I decided to
post this and extend the hits on my webpage.  Hope you like this and I will
be featuring this at a Train Show with GFLTC in Sarasota at the end of Feb
2001.  LMKWYT.  Hope to post more Asian monuments in the future.

(...) Great job!! Very impressive. Boy, when you go ancient - you go big! I guess it's all down hill from there. What happened, not enough bricks to do the whole thing? ;~) Bill (24 years ago, 11-Feb-01, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.castle)
