Thanks for using the C word Brad, I don't dare. :)  I made a few prototypes
trying to make X shaped sections with no success.  I just slapped it together
in about a day and a half.  247 hits and 5 guestbook entries since putting it
up this afternoon.  Thanks to everyone who has checked it out.

Very cool.

Out of curiosity, did you do any structural tests or design before building
it or did you just slap it up?

I used to slap things together, but as they got bigger, they would become
way too unstable, so now I at least think about building a solid foundation.

I built a far more whimsical version of the eiffel tower.  You can see it
here:

There are some other shots on the web site of it, but I think you can see it
the best in that picture.

Please check out my version of The Eiffel Tower using basic blocks:

I hope you recognize and enjoy it.  It was a challenge.

I will have another picture up later today.

Silas,  I also have a First National Bank of Chicago building at my other • Lego
gallery.  Type in my email address to get the albums list.

It looks great. It would have been hard to do the X shaped sections without going to a larger (more expensive) scale. Rick Kujawa <spacerocks@iname.com> wrote in message news:Fqtq40.1AD@lugnet.com...
