Alastair, this is a very impressive neo-classical edifice. The details on the
basement level and the staircases is very well exectuted.
I say that there is no need to apologize or explain any compromises in its
construction. Anyone who builds replicas of large structures faces the same
problem. Should I build it to scale or use selective compression so I do not
have to rent a large truck (lorry) to get it to a train or toy show?
Your hall certainly expresses the style of the real thing. As for sculpture, I
am sure a few all black or grey minifigs will do nicely.
