It's the third building built after a real-life example... first was my
brewery "Hengelo bier", which in desolate state is still in existance
today :

The second building was a post-WW2 standard house designed for the Dutch
Railways, to house maintenance workers along the railway lines in remote
areas :

All these buildings were built using blueprints, photo's and many visits to
try and capture all the details. The brewery is showing it's age (wasn't
that good a builder back then...) and will be overhauled before the summer
so it can go 'on tour' for one more year.
The Rietveld house was the first building I built with a "proper"
interior... before I just made sure it looked as if something was there or
left it empty (the Railways house is, after 18 months, still waiting for an
interior) Usually before I'm truly finished with one project I'll be
halfway with the next (just ordered some books on Bauhaus and De Stijl, so
expect more in a similar fashion soon :D )
Thanks for the wonderful comments!

| (...) Hi there Jan-Albert! I like the house very much! I have seen pictures of it before. Pretty amazing architecture for 1924. I also like doing LEGO versions of real houses and buildings.
