Well I decided to have a go at building a few renditions of some of the
buildings in my home city, Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia..

The First one is the CAPELEC building:-

Mainly chosen for its unusual upside down pyramid shape. Its far from
perfect but I am pretty happy with it and it was fun to build. Round bricks
for the external support structures would be preferable, but I lack the
bricks :-(

I have included a picture of the real building I worked off..

P.S. don't ask what the other side looks like as it isn't completed :-))

(...) so, I had no problem immediately recognising it as the ERGON building (I didn't recognise the name CAPELEC so I had no preconceptions). Your MOC is very true to life. As I had my NLS with me, I didn't engage in any Lego-related activities (...) (23 years ago, 28-Apr-02, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.loc.au)
