I really did the red&white canopy.  Those 1x6x31/2 arches are among my
favorite pieces.  6 months ago I would have salivated at the use of so many,
but I have a lot now as well, thanks to Brickbay (although my supply for new
buildings is pretty low - I'll probably have to pick more up).

Also, on the tan building, I like how you used the 1x2x1 "wood" pieces (i.e.
the ones that are shaped like two logs) to mimic molding.  Doing molding is
a big challenge because 1 stud is often grossly excessive.  However, doing
no molding looks fake and "flat."  I've done some experiments with half-stud
offsets and sticking plates vertically for smaller molding, but I've never
thought of using the "wood" bricks.

These will be the final 2 pics of buildings from the TCLTC layout that I • will
post for a while; the remaining few are still in various stages of • construction.
These two are actually set together as they will sit on the layout:

With the advent of the new color dark red from the 10019, I can hardly • contain
myself in anticipation of its release in bulk-- *then* we will be able to
construct a proper red brick building!

You go Brad!!
