  Re: Bumble Bee Building

(...) Does this mean you're just warming up? I'm impressed. This building has class. I hope your BF doesn't want the pieces back very soon :-) Amy (23 years ago, 31-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.arch)

  New building for my downtown.

Well I made yet another downtown style building. (By this I mean, bigger than a house, yet small enough that it isn't a skyscraper). This one is yellow with blue accents. I tried one concept out first, but I didn't like it that much so after tearing (...) (23 years ago, 31-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.org.us.michlug)

  Re: Bumble Bee Building

(...) Looks great Sara. It's a very striking building. Would look great in most any display. It's nice that all four sides have detail. Lately I haven't been giving anything but the front and roof attention. The stairs inside are very cool. They (...) (23 years ago, 31-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: Bumble Bee Building

(...) Hey Sarah, I like it! Really nice design and nice interior too! I was expecting something less majestic when you called it a bumble bee building. I like the corner roof peaks. Keep up the good work. Tom (23 years ago, 31-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: Bumble Bee Building

(...) say wow! I like the way you did the corners of the roof, you make up for the lack of triangular peak slopes very nicely (with the cones)! The building opens, that's more points for ya, and I love the way you did the stairs in the foyer. *Very* (...) (23 years ago, 31-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: My latest cathedral.

Oh my goodness... Truly a delight to see! The architects of the cathedrals used height and complicated designs to cow the viewer... I am indeed cowed. Kudos! Sarah (...) (23 years ago, 31-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.arch)

  Bumble Bee Building

Here is the “The Bumble Bee Building” I have been working on for a few weeks. Now that I am building with Lego, I have to use my B/F's collection and this time black and yellow were not being used for his latest space ship, so that's what I had to (...) Its so beautiful!! although what you call the back, I would use as the front,(one of my personal preferances is to use the most beautiful side of something as the front) Gary BTW I would like to have the MLCAD files. Brad Hamilton (...) (23 years ago, 30-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: My latest cathedral.

(...) Thanks :-) (...) I call it the "curl" problem, and yes, I have it in spades. The GATS Church actually takes advantage of it in the curved walls. All the other glass walls that are more than a few panels in size are supported somehow. In the (...) (23 years ago, 31-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.arch)

(...) could just get it in all the colors we want, in bulk... The "up" shot is bizarre. You've got the reflectivity set high in all these shots. Is that in keeping with the liquid theme or is there some utility to it in rendering? Amy (23 years ago, 30-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.arch)

Brad-- Another masterpiece, for sure. You've got a really unique style. Have you turned your interest in architecture to non-Lego applications? One small note of criticism I would have is the front entrance--that staircase seems very small compared (...) (23 years ago, 30-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.arch)
