(...) could just get it in all the colors we want, in bulk... The "up" shot is bizarre. You've got the reflectivity set high in all these shots. Is that in keeping with the liquid theme or is there some utility to it in rendering? Amy (23 years ago, 30-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.arch)

Brad-- Another masterpiece, for sure. You've got a really unique style. Have you turned your interest in architecture to non-Lego applications? One small note of criticism I would have is the front entrance--that staircase seems very small compared (...) (23 years ago, 30-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.arch)

Hi, Yes - You are right. Unfortunately, there are no official hair pieces available for LEGO CAD work. Someone has done a rough version, but it wasn't available in time to put into this model. Here is my disclaimer on that: (URL) D. Jackson (...) (23 years ago, 30-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.arch)

  My Latest Cathedral

Its been a while since I've done something in CAD, but I found an old flying buttress concept I did a while back and decided to make a cathedral out of it. The result is a bit smaller than previous efforts, but decidedly more unusual. Here is the (...) (23 years ago, 30-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: Updated Train/Monorail Transit Terminal

Thanks for the compliments. I've been trying to use those mars tubes for about 6 months now and finally figured out how to put them in something. I cross-posted to town, as you suggested. Dan Simonson <chefcooks@home.com> wrote in message (...) (23 years ago, 21-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.arch)

  Factory Pictures Finally

Well I know I said I would have pictures yesterday morning, but alas it was not to be. Although I pushed the button the digital camera many a time and sounds came forth no pictures were stored. What, so now the progression is: 2-wide "live steamers" 4-wide coal cars 6-wide trains 8-wide trains 14-wide trains 80-wide trains!!?!   Re: GATS Church - better pictures

(...) Once everything is unloaded from the car it takes about twenty minutes to set up. It'll take longer at GATS because I'll be placing minifigs and doing landscaping. I didn't take the time to do that for these pictures because I was borrowing a (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town)

(...) Thank you. (...) The clear wall elements (or panels) tend to curve when you stack a number of them. This makes building tall window panels more of a challenge, since they need to be anchored by a rigid column. For this church I chose not to (...) (...) Looks fantastic, very impressive. Just a few questions: How di you do the curve for the end walls? It looks like a flat sheet of windows that has been bent in the pictures, I can't see any offsets to make it curve. My wife wants to know why (...)
