(...) Andy - if you're interested in ideas for roofs that fit on octagon shaped structures you might want to also check out my model of Colonial Williamsburg's Powder Magazine. It definitely was a challenge trying to come up with a design that was (...) (23 years ago, 15-Jun-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town)

Wow. Love that roof! I'm going to have to look closely at that, to see if I can imitate it. I love the feel the whole structure has. Beautiful work, as always, Brad. -Andy Lynch ----- Original Message ----- From: "Brad Hamilton" <bhamilto1@home.com> (...) (23 years ago, 15-Jun-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town)

(...) this is cool. Is there any piece you cant find a way to use? You seem to be able to take the most useless looking SPUD elements and make them look good. (23 years ago, 15-Jun-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town)

Have you ever eaten in a tree house?

This is my tree house cafe. Its a restaurant situated in the top of a massive tree. (URL) uses some pretty tricky engineering techniques with an octagonal shape. Here is the city containing it: (URL) (23 years ago, 15-Jun-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town) !!

  Chateau Paradisa Expansion

I've added 3 additional floors to Chateau Paradisa. The style has also been transformed a bit to look somewhat more like an 18th century building in Amsterdam. (URL) I've made the building a bit more gaudy (if that's possible) with more bright red (...) (23 years ago, 15-Jun-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town)

I hate me too's and Ditto's... though Brad, great job! I love all the details you added with the freestyle wheels and the rounded half arches.
