I came up with a model for the Endor Shield generator. Actually this is probably not the structure that actually generates the shield, but it the one that Luke gave himself up to Vader in. That's Sebulba from the Star Wars pod-racing set. I had always thought of this as a useless part and was debating on throwing it out, but it makes a nice "gargoyle" statue for a building! I'm clad I could motivate you to delurk! :) The curved area at the bottom is made of a large number of 1x12x3 arches on their side. Normally, you would be looking up towards the ceiling to see this view. I have a ton of these arches, mostly from the (...) (24 years ago, 27-Feb-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town)

Brad, I'm delurking to say that is one of the most wonderful and memorable MOCs ever! Truely a masterpiece. I totally agree with leaving that structural cylinder open.
