(URL) i have been experimenting with a variety of designs to create curved staircases, and in some cases, wavy staircases. the designs here are all based on the same concept, but each varies slightly in building techniques using different stud (...) (...) And my apologies for responding to myself but... aren't you somewhat of an expert of multi-layered, multi-hinged shapes? You could probably do something really neat by hiding a multi-angled shell under plates stuck on studs up (or even with (...) (16 years ago, 16-Feb-08, to lugnet.build.arch, FTX)

(...) Angling some wing plates is the only solution I'm aware of and it's not that great IMO. Basically it's a nasty problem. You may be able to try something tricky with 1x1 slopes too. Tim (16 years ago, 16-Feb-08, to lugnet.build.arch, FTX)
