  Chinese pagoda
 
I constructed this microscale Chinese pagoda as a centerpiece for a dinner party (for 25!) that we hosted two weeks ago. It isn't accurate to any specific pagoda, but is broadly based on some of the techniques and styles I observed in some source (...) (17 years ago, 11-Apr-07, to lugnet.town, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.ancient, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.build.microscale, FTX) !

Wow, Alistair, this is a beautiful recreation. I am particularly impressed with the interior detail. The tiled floor pattern is very nicely done is the room with the stately dark red columns. And the maersk blue room's fireplace and door lintel look (...) (17 years ago, 7-Mar-07, to lugnet.build.arch)
