  Looking for a Building

Hello all, I hope this post is okay to go here. I came across what has to be one of my favorites builds a while back, and I can't seem to find it now. I believe it was on Brickshelf, but I'm not positive. The pictures I remember were of what looked (...) (19 years ago, 2-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.arch)

  House on the Oasis

I have finally finished something ;) Page 1: (URL) Page 2: (URL) 3: (URL) I saw the brochure for the house, I wanted to see what it would look like and also in LEGO ;) I loved the idea of so much surrounding water and the spaciousness of the house.   Re: Cottage

(...) Thanks, the grill is my favorite detail as well; funny how a whole creative effort can produce/distill one gem in a larger MOC. Jeff (19 years ago, 26-Apr-05, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Cottage

Jeff: Wonderful little grill. Very inventive use of the white fence piece as the grate. Other great details are the hood using two low slope corner pieces and your use of four 1x2 dark gray tiles on each side to make it look like a tiled countertop. (...)   House & car

Re: new moc: italian villa with aquarium pool

(...) many thanks for the vote of confidence, but i'm afraid it would be impossible. except for a few store mocs for our layouts, all other mocs are destroyed to make way for the latest. sadly, i have neither enough bricks nor space to "house" them (...) (...) thank you for the compliment! (...) this floor was a result of norbert telling me i shouldn't keep the studded tan floor originally in place. i played with a variety of possibilities and i'm very pleased with the result but only wish i had (...)   Re: new moc: italian villa with aquarium pool

(...) Since, oddly enough, that was exactly the effect I was aiming at ("colourful and slightly cartoony" would be another :) ), I thank you very much. Oh, and Deborah? Thanks for the commission! Norbert Black (19 years ago, 9-Apr-05, to lugnet.build.arch, FTX)

Re: new moc: italian villa with aquarium pool

Another masterpeice, as to be expected! Details I like from a first glance: The (URL) floor>, simple but effective. The (URL) pantile roof> I think this works well, possibly a bit overscale but the 'Lego eye' assimilates it OK. BTW have you seen (...) (19 years ago, 9-Apr-05, to lugnet.build.arch, FTX)

new moc: italian villa with aquarium pool

another hillside moc in the italian countryside, this villa represents building through the ages. the varied roof lines *might* bring to mind various outbuildings that were brought together under one roof, so to speak. this roof design was inspired (...)   The incredible shrinking and expanding Chateau

I'm procrastinating work, and was thinking about what I've done to this MOC over the years.   World Trade Center Revisited

This is version 2 of my WTC microfig model that I rebuilt in November 2003. As with all my previous micro skyscraper "rebuilds", the emphasis has been on improving and expanding the levels of details - particularly at street level. This proved to be (...)   Re: Hardware Store

(...) Very cool creation. Who doesn't have lots of extra tools and gadets in their collection? This is a great way to display those extras in a cool looking, old style, hardware store.   Re: Hardware Store

  Re: Hardware Store

Mitch, your detailing keeps getting better and better. Great looking building from the outside, but it's the inside that captures my heart. That loft apartment has to be one of the best LEGO interiors I've ever seen. Perfectly rendered. Bravo. (...) (19 years ago, 20-Feb-05, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build.arch, FTX)
