Hi. I've had an admittedly brief search but I can't find reference to bay windows here or any pics on brickshelf. I finally acquired enough dark red to put together a little building for the TCLTC layout (another "backdrop" building). I was really anxious to see the dark red in action, so to speak, and I think it was worth the wait! I *really* like this color (...) (...) I'm glad you like it. To answer your question: Since the most common tan piece seems to be the 2x4 brick, most of the exterior structure is made up of such brick. I decided it was time to add a pedestal to the Statue of Liberty set #3450. My results can be found here: (URL) also revised the torch by building it with clear bricks and then wiring it to light up. Hello, I teach CAD at a Community College in California, and for the last few semesters I've incorporated LEGO (specifically, LEGO Technic) into my curriculum. Hello, The arrival of rust-dark orange-earth orange bricks have made way for a new fire station. This one inspired by the station on Webster Ave in the Bronx. A typical modern station in NYC. Thanks for the comment Kevin :-)) The windows are just 2x2 & 1x2 Black bricks. Seemed the most suitable as the actual windows are very dark. (probably tinted, Rockhampton is a hot and sunny place) I could use 1x4x3 window frames I suppose but the (...) (22 years ago, 28-Apr-02, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.loc.au)
