Thanks for the compliments. Unfortunately, this building is attached to about 6 baseplates, so its not really transportable. I thought about making it possible to detach, but it became too complex because it is penetrated by the monorail on the (...) (23 years ago, 14-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.arch)

I love the castleish tower/keep with the yellow highlights! I think they look great, but might change the thin grey horizontal plates between the different stories to yellow as well. I really did the red&white canopy. For the past 6 months, I have avoided this newsgroup ( lugnet.build.arch ) , on the basis that building things with arches was a bit restrictive, and anyway, I don't have enough arches to do anything interesting. Hm. Dan, your point is valid, I think, but not what Larry was referring to. To my way of thinking, the buildings -should- have been (but were not) posted to lugnet.trains. Actually, Larry, it can be viewed as most appropriate of John Neal to post to .train. I kindly direct you to model rr mags which routinely feature articles on buildings related to train layouts. Looks nice. The see-through nature of the thin-walls make it seem a little too "empty" though. I know how you feel about exteriors coming before interiors, but you might want to try doing a little something, perhaps in the lobby, just to make it (...) Although this building is new to the net, I actually began building it last year after a huge sale of 4561s from Walmart. The building took all of the 1x2x3 trans light blue thin wall elements from over 40 sets (I've forgotten how many came in each (...)
