Hi, Paul. Yes, those are indeed Clikits pieces. My first use of such. Even though I didn’t take advantage of it in this story, I was happy to find that they do indeed have a snap connection to “regular” LEGO pieces, so I feel less cheesy about using them. On the other hand, the Scala foam piece I use for Amnon’s mattress is a bit less excusable.

   I like the photoshop work on the six-fingered giant!

Thanks. I had tried to think of a non-photoshop way of getting across the idea of polydactyly on a minifig (or oversized minifig), but eventually took the cop-out route.

   I also like the head used for Shimei, and the way you built the donkey.

I wanted there to be a strong family resemblance with Saul. I’ve seen a few other people make some nice brick-built donkeys over the past few years, but I like that my version provides eyes and a mouth even if its overall shape is not as true-to-form.
