Re: The Brick Testament - All Hail King Saul!

(...) Neat table in the last panel. It took me a minute to realize that it wasn't actually attached to anything. (...) Samuel on the barrel is pretty funny. (...) The Ammonites' black and red look is pretty sharp. I like the idea of messengers (...) (18 years ago, 16-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Re: The Brick Testament - All Hail King Saul!

Hey Brendan, Guess I'd better get right on this installment. :) Israelites demand taxation without representation - Nice face choices for Joel and Abijah - they look related but not identical. My favorite pic in this story is Abijah accepting the (...) (18 years ago, 16-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Re: The Brick Testament: Tumors and Death

(...) I was honestly starting to think this would be the first update you'd miss! My thanks as ever for taking the time to comment, Bruce. (...) It might be a good choice.   Re: The Brick Testament: Tumors and Death

Hey Brendan, I can't believe I somehow let this slip by without commenting. I would claim that I was busy, but in the interim I commented on Barbara Werth's Rembrandt MOC, so that excuse won't fly. Anyway, great work as always: God tortures the (...) (18 years ago, 14-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Hi Brendan! Thanks for your words! Especially because I am following your works on the bible as well! You do a really great job. (...) Of course I can!   Re: Rembrandt: The Anatomy Lecture of Dr. Nicolaes Tulp

Ooh, excellent recreation, Barbara! When I first got my hands on one, I had the same thought about how that baby bib would make a great Renaissance era collar. I even tried it on a couple of Brick Testament characters, but it just looked too (...) (18 years ago, 7-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Re: Rembrandt: The Anatomy Lecture of Dr. Nicolaes Tulp

(...) Hello Barbara, Welcome to Lugnet! This is a great creation, and, as Marc said, beautifully captures the original. The red hand is a nice touch. I love this idea of recreating artworks and would love to see more of these from you. BTW, I posted (...) (18 years ago, 7-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)
