Pigs fly, demoniacs are cured, and Jesus puts in one final appearance

(URL) The Brick Testament> has been updated today with three new illustrated stories from (URL) Gospels>: (URL) The Gerasene Demoniac (URL) The Gadarene Demoniacs (URL) The Final Appearance These three stories are likely to be the last ones I (...)   Re: About a gate and a cross... oh and some new pictures of a temple

(...) Simple asnwer... I don't like colour to much :) In grey the structure and lines of the building stand out better, so I kept it that way. With colours it very easy the look gets to "buzy". But I know, the buildings originaly would have been (...) (20 years ago, 19-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.ancient)

Re: About a gate and a cross... oh and some new pictures of a temple

(...) I like the flat tiles on the roof, the coffered ceiling, and the trophies (shields?) around the inside. Also the use of corrugated bricks as columns. I haven't been able to think any Lego piece to represent fluted drums like that. My only (...) (20 years ago, 17-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.ancient)

  Re: Satan Tempts Jesus

(...) Hey, To me this shot just had a very "Dawn of the Dead" feeling (at least the original, I didn't see the recent remake). I imagine all the minifigs heading over to the local Jerusalem shopping mall to hide from the zombies. Bruce (20 years ago, 16-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.ancient)

Re: Jesus and His Family / The Flesh and Blood of Jesus

(...) Thanks, Bruce. (...) Yeah, I've seen others use the lattice fences quite nicely as shutters, and it's even easier when you're only ever going to show one side of a building -- the other side can look sloppy if no one sees it. (...) I have (...) (20 years ago, 14-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.ancient)

Re: Jesus and His Family / The Flesh and Blood of Jesus

Hey Brendan, Great stuff as always. I like the window behind Jesus in the first story. I was actually just playing around with ideas to use those fence pieces vertically as shutters. In the second story, the use of the hollow dresser bricks as (...) (20 years ago, 14-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

(...) Thanks, Teddy. (...) That's a couple of (URL) Panel 3 x 4 x 6 with Curved Top>'s. I noticed the inner-side of that piece had that neat pattern to it, so I wanted to work it into a construction somehow. -Brendan (20 years ago, 14-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Re: Jesus and His Family / The Flesh and Blood of Jesus

Fabulous as always, Rev. Question: what is Jesus standing on in (URL) ? It looks SNOT-ty, but I can't quite make it out. -Teddy (20 years ago, 14-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Re: Casting Satan and Jesus for The Brick Testament

(...) I considered dark red, but I don't think they've come out with hands in dark red yet, have they? -Brendan (20 years ago, 14-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.ancient)
