  Re: Citadel of Kel-Nuroc

(...) Maelee and I are sad you couldn't attend as well, perhaps next year. Thanks for your encouraging words. This project took alot of time this year, but when it finally came together and was sitting on the table at Brickfest, it made it all worth (...) (21 years ago, 12-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)

  Re: Citadel of Kel-Nuroc

Jim, You did an excellent job on this citadel. It has the combination fortress/ceremonial/beauty that ancient buildings should have. I love the shape of the citadel, the diamond. I love the stairs coming off, and the diagonal corners, it's a fresh (...) (21 years ago, 12-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)

(...) Jim, This is a great citadel. I don't recall seeing many diamond shaped ones, it works very well. I like all the black trim you've added, it gives it an eerie, foreign kind of look. Thanks, George (21 years ago, 12-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)

  Re: large MOC: camel w/rider

(...) Thanks! The textiles were definitely challenging-- I just meant they aren't closely based on "authentic" models. The trickiest part of the rider was doing the trim on the dress with only two 1x2 orange grilles and a bunch of 1x4 orange plates. (...) (...) What bachelor among us has never found himself facing the pizza vs. xxx priority dilemma? (...) Thanks, it's fun to work on such modern domestic scenes after having the Israelites wandering the ancient wilderness for so long. (...) If only I (...)
