You sick sick man, you should be ashamed of yourself! Great job, especially the, um, err... yeah. That thing, that you did, it was cool :). Take care, Soren (21 years ago, 16-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)

Re: The Brick Testament: Discharges and More

(...) As always Brendan, I love your work. I especially enjoyed the bathroom (nice use of tiles) and the burning at the stake! Flex sure appears in a lot of Bible stories! ;-) Where did you get that bear? Does it come from a Lego set? (21 years ago, 16-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)

Re: The Brick Testament: Discharges and More

I never would have thought to use black for crispy-sinners, but it works perfectly. 2. (...) (21 years ago, 15-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)

Re: The Brick Testament: Discharges and More

Hey Brendan, Great as always. Some thoughts: Sexual Discharges: First photo, I love the living room--the TV, the use of the promotional brick as a poster and that Jedi Starfighter flag as some sort of abstract art. At first I wondered why there was (...) (21 years ago, 15-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)

(...) Awesome as usual Brendan. Construction-wise, I particularly liked your washer & dryer, the use of keys for subway hand-holds, and that nifty guillotine. Always an enjoyable read, keep em coming. -Chris (21 years ago, 15-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)

Re: Temple of Zeus at Olympia

(...) Ah. Martin Jessop Price was recently biographied in Celator. I've always thought it would be fun to have a Pausanias minifig traveler visit whatever people build... There is a "Pausanias" book called Ancient Coins Illustrating Lost (...) (21 years ago, 11-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)

Re: Temple of Zeus at Olympia

(...) Wow, that must have been something to stand on the site itself. It would be great to see your photos. I've seen a few photos on the web of the ruins, but the resolution was low (or the pictures were small). It would be interesting to also (...) (21 years ago, 10-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)

Re: Temple of Zeus at Olympia

(...) I am using a book by Peter Clayton and Martin Price titled "The Seven Wonders of the Ancient World" for some of my source data. There is an artist's rendition of the statue on page 65 of the book. I imposed a LEGO brick-shaped grid over the (...) (21 years ago, 10-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)
