Re: Of Snakes, Massacres, and Talking Donkeys

(...) I don't know how you do it, but every frame has something new. I love your use of tires as headwear for Balak's elite guards! I also never realized that you could use the 1x4x2 lattice in a SNOT configuration as featured in the ark. May you (...) (21 years ago, 8-May-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)

  Re: Santa Cristina de Lena

Thank you very much for your support. I'm very pleased to see you like my recreation of Santa Cristina de Lena (it's really an awesome church. I visit it two years ago. The simple build and the ilumination and shadows inside are very impresive). (...) (21 years ago, 4-May-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.ancient)

  Re: Santa Cristina de Lena

(...) I really like this MOC too. It captures the detail and scale of the church ( (URL) ). These Spanish churches are very small in scale when compared to later Romanesque pilgrimage churches. Great job! Ben (21 years ago, 2-May-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.ancient)

  Caspers temple

I don't know if anybody has seen this or not, but Casper van Nimwegen has constructed and excellent MOC called the Temple of Portunus. Its one of the best things I've seen on brickshelf in a while.   Re: Proto MOC: Chinese Fishing Boat

(...) Thanks! After checking Peeron and Bricklink, I was happy to find most of the pieces in my boat were available in tan! Maybe I'll build a fishing village someday. Nathan Lord of the LEGO (22 years ago, 28-Mar-03, to lugnet.boats, lugnet.build.ancient)

Re: Proto MOC: Chinese Fishing Boat

Quite clever! I like it and the colors aren't bad, but to get it just right it would need to be tan. But it looks like a reed boat. Really neat! Build On, Josh (...) (22 years ago, 26-Mar-03, to lugnet.boats, lugnet.build.ancient)

  Proto MOC: Chinese Fishing Boat

Hi Everybody, This is just a small MOC I made after seeing several Chinese and Egyptian fishing boats made out of bamboo and reeds. The colors aren't perfect, but it gets the point across.
