Yes, the entire roof consist only out of 2x plates.
Almost 1,100 pieces were used.
I added an txt-file into the gallery with more usefull information.

Yes, i will add more decoration, above the little round columns.
I was thinking of some horses and plain white minifigs with some lances.

Also, what some Parthenon builders have done is to make a frieze from plain (...) (22 years ago, 23-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.ancient)
