The cut flex-tube idea is a nice one, David.

I always feel a little weird about using cut flex-tube. The less “purist” a technique is, the more I hesitate before using it to reconsider if there’s not a more purist way to achieve a comparable effect without resorting to the knife. Then again, when it comes to The Brick Testament I’m no stranger to the knife when its benefits outweigh my hesitations to use it.

And no, this is not a circumcision innuendo.
