Thanks, glad you liked those. I dont have an explanatory photo handy, but
heres how theyre made:
The lower two rows use 33mm wagon wheels
as a skeleton, while the top three rows use
43mm wagon wheels. To these wagon
wheels, I attached as many yellow 1x1
tiles with clips around the outer edge as would fit, using the clip to make the
attachment. Then I pressed the studs of the yellow
flowers into the outward-facing bottoms
of each 1x1 tile with clip.
To hold the columns up straight, there are technic axles inside the yellow 35x31mm
wheels (held together with technic axle
joiners). The center holes of the wagon wheels dont accomodate technic axles,
so I switched to um... hmm... cant find it on Bricklink... um... the thing I
used as an
ox
goad here.

Is Solomon your first featured player sporting one of the new dwarven
beards?
|
Hes the first one to wear one in the tradition way (as a beard), though I did
use the same beard piece as
Absaloms hair caught in the tree.
|
Also, you need to get yerself one of them newfangled Peruvian Golden idols
from them thar Indiana Jones sets.
|
I agree that I do need to either shell out $8 to get an idol on Bricklink or $60
for the Temple Escape set. But what makes you suggest that now? Was there a
place you think these latest stories could have benefited from it?
Thanks for the comments!
