My beginning efforts to create a 1:400 scale airport using Lego elements

I just started this a few evenings ago, so don't expect too much.  I simply
want to make a home for my 1:400 airplanes.

(Note: The "Siemens" livery aircraft is a shameless plug for my employer ;-)

I am posting mostly to see if anyone has ideas on how to model jetways in
this scale using Lego pieces.  The problem that jumped out at me is the lack
of pieces and connectability at the size required to make a credible jetway
in this scale.
