Its been a while since I've done something in CAD, but I found an old flying
buttress concept I did a while back and decided to make a cathedral out of it.

The result is a bit smaller than previous efforts, but decidedly more unusual.

Here is the web page describing it:

Here are all the BrickShelf pictures:

If anyone wants the MLCAD files, let me know (by email) and I'll be happy to
send them to you.

Comments are appreciated.

Its so beautiful!! although what you call the back, I would use as the front,(one of my personal preferances is to use the most beautiful side of something as the front) Gary BTW I would like to have the MLCAD files. Brad Hamilton (...) (23 years ago, 30-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.arch)

Brad-- Another masterpiece, for sure. You've got a really unique style. Have you turned your interest in architecture to non-Lego applications? One small note of criticism I would have is the front entrance--that staircase seems very small compared (...) (23 years ago, 30-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.arch)

(...) could just get it in all the colors we want, in bulk... The "up" shot is bizarre. You've got the reflectivity set high in all these shots. Is that in keeping with the liquid theme or is there some utility to it in rendering? Amy (23 years ago, 30-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.arch)

Oh my goodness... Truly a delight to see! The architects of the cathedrals used height and complicated designs to cow the viewer... I am indeed cowed. Kudos! Sarah (...) (23 years ago, 31-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.arch)

Hey buddy! Brad it's a joy to see the magic you create. This one is really somthing. Because I'm not familar with the CAD Lego stuff, it's really something to see all those shapes and angles and trying to deciper where they start and end. This is (...) (23 years ago, 1-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.arch)

This is great! Looks like it is straight out of Final Fantasy. Stuff like this would be great for anyone who ever wants to create a little Final Fantasy-clone RPG using LDraw renderings. (...) (23 years ago, 12-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.arch)
