"New" MOC: Motorized Ferrari F355 Spider —Bram Lambrecht
Those of you who went to "BrickFest(sm)" have already seen this...and maybe you even saw me drive it around. Anyway, Monday evening before "BrickFest(sm)", I felt the urge to build, so I tackled a Legoland Miniland scale Ferrari F355 Spider. A (...)      Bram: Great model. (although not quite as impressive a piece of engineering as your 8-wide motorised sports car) (...) Could you show some details of how you placed the motors? Play well, Jacob -- (URL) (23 years ago, 19-Jul-01, to lugnet.build)

RE: "New" MOC: Motorized Ferrari F355 Spider —Bram Lambrecht
(...) Thanks! This one works much better than the 8 wide car, although it was a bit easier to accomplish. (...) The micromotor is right under the dashboard and forms part of the "transmission".      (...) Thanks! (...) You decide...here's one of my early large scale models: (URL) think I've gotten a bit better. Using a real car for reference really helps to get realistic shapes and details.      It's a beautiful car, Bram... but I'm confused. It's basically all studs-up. If it weren't for Todd's new security feature, I'd think that someone was spoofing your identity. -- Tony Hafner www.hafhead.com (...) (23 years ago, 19-Jul-01, to lugnet.build)

RE: "New" MOC: Motorized Ferrari F355 Spider —Bram Lambrecht
(...) The key is using SNOT subtly, and only when necessary. There are are actually parts that are completely upside down in this model (I'll let you try and find them) I usually prefer the look and strength of studs-up bricks, so I tend to use SNOT (...)      Like it love it want it for my own. Gee Brad what don't I like about this one. Motors compact and neatly tucked. Nice touch! Sporty mini fig style.
