Hi,
I asked my nephew (Rim, 18) about 2 months ago if I could get "my" old Lego
back, you know, for my 3 year old son (he he).
Yesterday was the big day. My old "bucket" (40cm diameter and 60 cm high)
was still there, not as full as I remembered, but Rim said he wanted to keep
some stuff.
But a lot was there: my first train (181), some blue tracks, loads of old
(the one from 360 and 353) and new baseplates, the ship (312), and those
oldskool technics gears and axes; the big yellow one, the medium blues and
the small red ones but no 2 x 4 light gray bricks with holes! I can tell
you, it was a feast.
I hoped I could find some parts for my 727-2001 and container projects (see:
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=5508 and
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=5485) but no. I managed to
build one part of the containertrain in all different colours and test it (I
only builded it in MLCad) which was nice cos my original design had some
erm, bugs.
Oh, there were some forneign objects in there too, some playmobile and the
contents of a Kinder-chocolade-egg. Didn't do anything ritual with them...
